What to Put on a Plumber's Website
A plumber's website needs to do three things fast: show the number, show why the customer can trust you, and make it easy to describe the problem. Here is what to include.
A call button that is always in reach
Most plumbing searches happen on a phone, often in a hurry. Keep a call button on screen as the customer scrolls, and state your availability honestly. Only show an after-hours number if it is actually answered.
Your PIRB details, explained
The Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) registers plumbers in categories. A Licensed Plumber can issue a PIRB Plumbing Certificate of Compliance, while a Qualified Plumber can do plumbing work but cannot issue one. Say clearly which you are, with your registration number, so customers and estate agents know what to expect.
One page for each service
- Geyser repairs and replacements
- Leaks and burst pipes
- Blocked drains and toilets
- Bathroom and kitchen renovations
A short enquiry form
Ask only for what you need: name, cell number, suburb and the type of problem, with the option to attach a photo. Every extra field costs you enquiries.
Proof that you do good work
Real before-and-after photos, reviews from real customers, and any guarantee you genuinely offer on your workmanship.
